The Learning Center Program
was started in 1994 as an
alternative method to
educate learning-different
students.
Our program centers
on developing literacy
skills (reading &
writing) through
experiential, multisensory
learning experiences in
multiage classrooms.
The Learning Center
Program extends from first
grade through twelfth grade.
The Upper Learning
Center students (9th
– 12th) earn
Carnegie Unit credits for
core curriculum courses plus
1 or 2 Learning Center
periods per day.
Our student-teacher
ratio is approximately 1
teacher to 7 students.
